D’Addario Pro-Arté Composites Classical Guitar Sets

Description

Pro-Arté composite strings feature an exclusive multifilament stranded core material which delivers a powerful, but warm tone which lasts 2-3 times longer than traditional classical strings. In addition to three traditional nylon treble strings, each set contains an optional monofilament composite 3rd/G string, which provides greater projection and optimal balance between basses and trebles. All Pro-Arté treble strings are sorted by a sophisticated computer-controlled laser machine which performs diameter/tension measurements and quality checks, ensuring true sounding, precise trebles in every set.

Normal Tension
EJ45C, normal tension, is D’Addario’s best selling “composite” set, preferred for its balance of bold, yet warm tone, comfortable feel and dynamic projection.

Hard tension
EJ46C, hard tension, is a popular choice for its rich tone, increased resistance and strong projection.

Extra Hard Tension
EJ44C, extra-hard tension strings are optimal for maximum string resistance and projection without compromising tone.

Flamenco
EJ25B and EJ25C Flamenco sets are constructed using a new variation of our exclusive multifilament stranded core material that dramatically improves the life and tuning consistency of the wound strings when compared to traditional nylon cores. Complimented by black or clear nylon trebles, these sets are created and tested with artists worldwide to deliver a flexible feel while still maintaining a quick attack response that is essential for flamenco players. Black (EJ25B) and clear nylon versions (EJ25C), provide tone and appearance options for both traditional and progressive players.
